Ferroglass
It’s a high temperature ferrite powder impregnated fiberglass tube specifically manufactured to raise the ferritic mass in smaller impeders. The additional ferrite present in the casing can increase welding speeds by 40%. This improved efficiency is most noticeable in small diameters where the ferroglass cover contributes a higher percentage of the total ferritic mass in the impeder.
